The Alps

Italy After the quick stop in Prague, we climbed back in the car and headed for Italy! It was another long car ride, but we got a nice view. Most of the way we were driving through the mountains in Germany, Austria and Italy. Coming from the Green Mountain State, I've seen my fair share of mountains but I was in awe with the size of the alps. Seeing how large the Alps were, I was nervous about the difficulty of the trails. I thought I might have forgotten how to ski! Of course, as soon as I popped into my skis, my ski legs were ready!  We stayed in a small ski town called Pellizzano. There were a handful of different ski areas surrounding us. Every day we went to a different area, the first day we went to one of the more family friendly ones. We got a late start, but stated on the mountain until 4:00. A Quick Update!

As some of you may have noticed it has been a while since I last posted! I have been away the last couple weeks exploring the Italian and Austrian Alps! (more on that coming in the weekend post!) Unfortunately the other reason I have not had a chance to share a post is my lack of a computer!  I had been home sick the week before my holiday and had a costly mishap with a cup of tea and my computer :( All is fixed but it took some time to get that all sorted out.  There is quite a bit for me to catch you up on, but I will be doing it in a couple different posts. Don't worry though, you'll hear all about my skiing adventures :) Before my host family and I made it to Italy, we made a stop in Prague! Though we were only there for a day, we got to do a lot of exploring in the city.  Prague Thursday morning we got up early, packed the car, and pulled out the drive way at 8:00! We spent most of the day in the car, I had uploaded all the good music though, and it helped t
